The Laika reception project is an interior design intervention of authorial character that transforms the welcome area into a scenographic and emotional environment. Vibrant red emerges as the absolute protagonist, strategically used to create a strong and memorable visual identity through iconic furnishings with sculptural forms: organically shaped armchairs, sinuous sofas, and enveloping seats that become true functional works of art.
The space unfolds across multiple visually connected levels, creating a perception of openness and fluidity. The reception desk, defined by futuristic white-and-black lines with red accents, serves as the central element of the showroom, while above it a mezzanine level accommodates additional red seating that forms a scenographic backdrop visible from the ground floor. The predominately white surfaces of the walls and pillars enhance the formal purity of the project, while natural wood parquet introduces warmth and material softness, balancing the strong chromatic presence.
Distinctive decorative elements characterize the environment: a wall featuring a black geometric pattern on a white background introduces visual dynamism and depth, while vertical wooden slat cladding adds texture and rhythmic composition. The lighting design is meticulously curated, with white spherical pendant lamps descending from the ceiling like luminous sculptures and indirect lighting systems integrated into the false ceilings to create soft, welcoming atmospheres.
Nature enters boldly into the project through tall trees growing in circular white planters, bringing freshness and verticality to the double-height spaces. The wide perimeter glazing ensures visual continuity with the outdoors and floods the interiors with natural light. Every detail—from minimal finishes to refined materials—is orchestrated to create a unique reception experience that reflects Laika’s values of innovation, design, and quality, transforming the welcome area into an emotional space that anticipates the excellence of the products on display.
