The project for Erbario Toscano presents a retail design and corporate headquarters installation that translates the essence of the Tuscan artisanal perfumery brand into spaces where product presentation, territorial identity, and sensorial atmospheres converge to create environments that communicate craftsmanship, quality, and a deep connection to herbalist tradition. The images document a functional complex integrating commercial showroom and operational offices through a contemporary architectural language.
The Erbario Toscano display systems include backlit showcases with minimal black structures hosting bottles arranged by chromatic criteria to create gradient compositions; suspended glass shelves with integrated LED lighting; and black metal shelving units showcasing the full product range organized by line. The circular Erbario Toscano logo, featuring stylized botanical graphics, crowns the main display walls, reinforcing brand identity.
Central showroom elements include black metal display tables with glass tops presenting curated collections through scenographic arrangements: room diffusers with natural reeds, blown-glass decorative bottles with transparent spherical stoppers, scented candles, and sculptural bottles with organic forms. Seasonal decorative elements—such as ornamental pumpkins displayed on golden stands—introduce connections to natural cycles rooted in herbalist tradition.

The Erbario Toscano cash desk stands out as a signature element created through an imaginative restoration process: a vintage wooden cabinet with blue-veined marble inserts that introduce precious materiality and evoke Tuscan territory. This piece communicates sustainability through reuse, craftsmanship through uniqueness, and locality through regional materials—reflecting Erbario Toscano’s core values. The operational offices follow a functional configuration, with spacious meeting rooms equipped with large dark solid-wood tables surrounded by modern ergonomic black chairs, and workstations positioned along perimeter windows that provide abundant natural light. Traditional Persian rugs introduce material warmth and references to the artisanal tradition that characterizes Erbario Toscano’s manufacturing philosophy. Glazed partitions with black metal frames create separation between showroom and offices while maintaining visual continuity. Large sliding tempered-glass doors allow controlled access while ensuring transparency that communicates organizational openness, balancing operational privacy with visual connection across company functions. Showroom lighting is conceived on multiple levels to create dramatic effects that enhance products: directional spotlights produce focused light cones over display tables; LED backlighting in showcases emphasizes transparency and chromatic intensity of bottles; while diffused ambient lighting ensures overall visibility. This choreographed lighting system transforms the shopping experience into an immersive sensory journey.

The material palette communicates Erbario Toscano’s values: matte black metal for structural elements conveying contemporary rigor; tempered glass for transparency that elevates the products; reclaimed natural wood for warmth; Tuscan blue marble for precious regional accents; and grey cement-resin flooring for technical performance. Each material is selected for authenticity and its narrative capacity to express the brand’s identity.
The project stands out in its ability to translate the identity of a Tuscan artisanal perfumery brand into physical spaces that express values through architecture and scenographic installations. The showroom elevates fragrance retail into a multisensory experience, while the offices ensure operational functionality—demonstrating how contemporary retail design can enhance artisanal products by celebrating Tuscan herbal tradition through a balance of territorial references and contemporary aesthetics.
